HOW TO GET TO PUERTO NATALES
Puerto Natales is a Chilean city in the far South of the country, located between 51º 43’ South and 72º 31’ West, specifically on the shore of the Señoret Channel, between Almirante Montt Gulf and Última Esperanza Sound, in the XII Magellan Region and the Chilean Antarctic. It is located 247 Km North of Punta Arenas, the capital of this Region, and 3,197 Km from Santiago de Chile.
There is an airport at Puerto Natales, so you can check for flights from Santiago de Chile, Puerto Montt or Punta Arenas.

Arrival at Punta Arenas Airport: Every day from Santiago via Lan (One World) or Sky Airline. Punta Arenas airport is located 20 km from the centre of Punta Arenas and 226 km from Puerto Natales.
From Punta Arenas: Take Route 9 North towards Puerto Natales.
From the Punta Arenas airport: buses take passengers every day from 07:00 to 21:00 hrs. during the high season.
From Santiago: 3,100 km approx. From Puerto Montt; 2,300 km.
From Puerto Montt to the South you go through Argentina and then cross to Chile through the Monte Aymond border crossing. Another alternative is going through the border crossing of the Republic of Argentina.
Regular buses: Puerto Montt – Puerto Natales; the trip takes more than one day.
Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales: regular bus lines. Information given by each transport agency.
From Puerto Montt, take the ferry to Puerto Natales. It departs once a week and it takes 72 hours. Enquire about greater frequency during high season.
From Puerto Yungay: Take the ferry to Puerto Natales with calls at Tortel Cove and Edén Port; the voyage takes 41 hours.
